The introverted codependent needs social interaction for sense of self worth, needs solitude for self care and re-energizing. Mutually exclusive, hard to find balance. But also leads introvert to be more social than they would otherwise, sometimes at the expense of self care. Long term, learning social skills is good but must learn also to take solitude and find self worth outside of others.
The amygdala is to rest of the brain as our institutions are to society. Old, ingrained behaviors that have been running shit for thousands of years. But not always the best decision makers.
Sobriety is a myth. There’s no such thing as an altered state of consciousness. Every state of conscious is an altered state. It’s altered from the previous state.

We cannot invent, we can only discover. We cannot do, we can only watch.
Everything changes. And yet there is a deep unquestionable sense of continuity. Life is a process of realizing that everything changes except for that deep sense, which becomes all the more mysterious as all the evidence for it disappears.
